Since 1978 Travar has specialised in producing aluminium and aluminium alloy wires and bars, for mechanical use and electrical appliances. During these years Travar has partecipated in and been a leading figure in that general innovation process in the field of metallurgy and operating technologies which have presented aluminium with a wide range of new horizons.

Its production, constantly aimed at technological improvement, has today reached a high quality level and achieved inventive results, sometimes ground-breaking, as for example in the case of aluminium multi-wire with its exclusive characteristics. Travar has always been assisted by the constant drive to experiment and to carry out research, coupled with the specific competence of its technicians and by strong investment both in financial terms and human resources.
The continuing development of the activity made it necessary for TRAVAR to transfer to larger and more suitable premises. The new plant in Rodengo Saiano is equipped with the latest and most advanced equipment and production, as always, is protected by the implementation of scrupulous controls over raw materials and semi-finished and finished products.
